About the NY Jr Coyotes

The New York Jr Coyotes Looking Forward to The 2009-2010 Empire Jr Hockey League Season

  The New York Jr Coyotes have started their 2nd season in the Empire Jr Hockey League. The Club has seen positive growth since its commencement in 2008. Owner/ Head Coach, Rodger Huaitt, has added to his staff Assistant Coach, Tom Stancise from Pembroke Pines, FL. Mickey Fiacco is once again the Coyotes Assistant Coach/Recruiter. Kevin Holcomb will stay on as Manager/Treasurer of the Coyotes once again this season.

  As part of the league, the team will once again travel to Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Long Island, NJ, PA and much of New York State. They will play 41 League games along with exhibition play throughout the upcoming season. SUNY Potsdam's Maxcy Hall Ice Arena located in Potsdam, New York will once again play host to the Coyotes home games.

  The Coyotes hosts an experienced Head Coach. Rodger Huaitt brings to the team, fifteen years of professional playing experience in both Europe and North America, as well as being a former Clarkson University, Division I player for four years and is currently the Director of CAN/AM Hockey Camp in Lake Placid, NY. "We look for the total package in our athletes, character, grades and playing ability!! These boys come out strong and play hard!!" says Coach Huaitt.
